Who is behind setting the universe in motion? Einstein’s suspicions may have been right

Physics tells us that the universe operates according to a series of physical laws, and physicists are always looking for these laws. Based on the physical laws, we can make accurate predictions about the universe’s operation. For example, according to Newton’s law of gravity, we can figure out exactly where the big planets of each solar system appear in the sky every day, when there will be solar and lunar eclipses, and so on.

The universe seems to work as if it is set up, and all the parameters are just right, if not, the universe would not even exist. So, who is behind the laws of the universe? What is the “God” that Einstein, Chen Ning Yang and other physicists believe to be?

Einstein once said, “The most incomprehensible thing about the universe is that it can be understood.” The universe is indeed incredible, so big, so wide, so complex that it does not operate without laws. Humans can find the physical laws contained in the universe, such as the law of gravity, the law of entropy increase, and the law of energy conservation.

Through the laws of physics, we can understand the present operation of the universe, simulate the past of the universe, and predict the future of the universe. The universe is so wonderful that on the one hand it shows mankind endless mysteries, and on the other hand it attracts mankind to unravel the mystery.

Since the universe all runs according to the laws of physics, and the state of motion of every particle can be predicted precisely as long as the initial state is determined, does it mean that the universe was set up long ago, 13.8 billion years ago, at the beginning of the universe, and now everything is already set up? And who set the universe by a series of physical laws?

First of all, present, past and future, this is our natural idea of time. Abhijit Naskar, a world-renowned neuroscientist, pointed out that time is actually an illusion created by the brain to help us perceive the imagery of time in the vast universe. Without neurons in the brain creating a virtual sense of the past and future based on life experiences, the concept of past and future time would not exist, only the present.

In life, we perceive the passage of time based on the sequence of events. Time was perceived and defined by humans in the beginning, defining the time it takes for the earth to rotate once around its axis as 1 day and the time it takes for the earth to rotate once around the sun as 1 year.

But if you put a person into empty space, with no things changing and no objects moving, would he still have the concept of time? Einstein, one of the three greatest physicists in human history, believed that time is only an illusion and that the difference between past, present and future is only a fixed illusion.

Time is an illusion can also be thought of in another way. According to Einstein’s theory of relativity, there is no absolutely uniform rate of time passing in the universe. In different places, or in different states of motion, time can be found to pass both faster and slower if comparisons are made.

Special relativity shows that the faster a person moves relative to a person at rest, the slower time passes in his or her body. For example, if someone flies through space in a spaceship approaching the speed of light and then returns to Earth, when he gets off the spaceship, since he experiences time much slower than on Earth, which has long since passed, he can be said to have come to the Earth of the future.

General relativity shows that time passes more slowly in people located in strong gravitational fields as opposed to those in weak gravitational fields. For example, the higher up the mountain a person stands, the weaker the gravitational force on them, and the faster time passes in them. And near a black hole with extreme gravity, time even tends to stop.

If time is only an illusory existence, what kind of existence does the universe have? The greatest physicist alive today, Chen Ning Yang, believes that the existence of the universe is too fantastic to be accidental, and that there is a great force behind the creation of the universe, which Yang believes is the so-called “creator” of the universe.

To refute the uncertainty of quantum mechanics, Einstein once said “God does not roll the dice”. Neither Yang nor Einstein is referring to a “creator” or “God” in the way that ordinary people think of human form. Man himself originated from the universe, and the God in human form was imagined during the period of ignorance to explain the origin of mankind and the universe.

The real ruler of the universe is the “God of Nature”, who arranges everything in the universe and tunes all the parameters just right so that atoms can form, gravity can exist, planets, stars and galaxies can form, and stellar fusion can go on. . Eventually, it also allowed humans to be born to think about all this.
