3-Methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (CAS No. 2530-85-0) is a clear, light and heat sensitive liquid with a faintly sweet odor. It belongs to the class of organosilicon compounds known as silane coupling agents, which are widely used to improve the adhesion and compatibility between organic and inorganic materials.
